Salt Lakers Foundation
"The Salt Lakers Foundation is a registered Utah Nonprofit Organization and has been approved for tax exempt status from the IRS pursuant to 26 U.S. Code § 501(c)(3). We have received our approval letter from the IRS as of December 2022.
OUR MISSION
Creating pathways for all female youth and instilling the values of teamwork, self-improvement, competition, and work ethic, through the game of basketball. Our coaches and players take pride in surrendering the ME for WE.
About us
The Salt Lakers Foundation is a non-profit organization, created by former female collegiate athletes dedicated to creating a positive environment through the game of basketball, for female youth residing in Salt Lake County, specifically in the underserved communities in the valley.
This foundation was built on passion, trust, and commitment by its coaches, parents, and players. We strive on the principles of discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence. We provide quality training opportunities for female athletes to improve their basketball skills and help empower them to use the lessons they’ve learned, on and off the court.
Our coaches, families and volunteers work together to cultivate a disciplined environment so every child can reach their full potential, develop their talents, and increase their skills in the game of basketball and more importantly in life.
